What it means to me to stay in shape is a lot more than just losing weight. There are so many reasons to get into fitness but for me, most of all, its a peace of mind. There’s no better feeling than finishing out a workout routine and feeling exhilarated for the rest of the day.
Shape your Mind With Fitness
- Keep Your Brain Sharp- by pumping more oxygen to the brain, releasing hormones and providing a nourishing environment for the growth of brain cells
- More Productivity- Having a consistent fitness regime gives you the energy to conquer your day
- Reduces Stress and Anxiety
- Boosts Creativity
- Increase in the Release of Endorphins- Boost your mood with the happy hormone that’ll have you feeling amazing all day
Your Body Responds Positively
- Get Sick Less
- Sleep Better
- Helps with Fertility
- Live Longer
- Decrease Back Pain
- Strengthen Your Bones- Reduces the risk of osteoporosis which is especially vital for women as we have more of a tendency to suffer from bone loss with age
- Lower Blood Pressure- Reduces the risk of cardiovascular problems such as heart attacks and stroke
- Improves Balance and Coordination
Nourishing From Within
Getting into a fitness routine also does wonders for your skin. Believe me! I saw that GLOW way before pregnancy. By increasing blood flow, a regular routine helps nourish skin cells and keeps them vital. Feel and look younger, studies show that with a regular routine, you can naturally boost collagen.
Amazingly your self-confidence increases as well. Fitness puts your mind in a more positive state which then makes you feel good about your physical self. With that said, you start to feel sexy which also leads to more confidence in the bedroom. Who doesn’t want to have better sex? or more of it…
Take care of your body, its the only one you have. If you don’t have a regular routine yet, start slow and work your way up to at least 30 minutes a day/ 3 days a week. You will love the way you feel, inside and out!
