Peace of Mind is Your Sanity- 5 Ways to Decompress

I can’t stress enough how much “me time” is important to us Mommies. My Lit’l Love is my world and I would do anything for her at any given time. I truly believe we need to take a step back and breathe once in a while. Life itself can be overwhelming whether your a working or stay at home mama, you need that minute, 5 minutes or an hour if you can do so to decompress.

There’s a multitude of ways you can destress and that said it does not entail an extravagant getaway. You can do it right at home…

How can I Take a Breather

  1. Take a bath- Turn it into a spa moment- face mask, exfoliate your body with a sugar scrub and why not light some candles…
  2. Take a walk- There’s nothing better to clear your mind than to go outside for some fresh air.
  3. Gym-time, when you get that adrenaline pumping you’ll be feeling good all day long. My best time to fit it in is first thing in the morning, that way I have no excuses.
  4. Lunch with Bestie- I cherish this time always! Its always a good time and you know you can use a good laugh.
  5. Wine Down- Yes my favorite, I love to have a glass of wine or 2? At the end of the day to wind it down.

Whichever way you Choose…

Take Care of yourself too, however you please. You are very Special and deserve to have a little time to yourself once in a while. We love our little beings, with that being said they do require Mommy 24/7. If you don’t give yourself a break you will burn yourself out and who wants that, No One. Do Just that and treat yourself at least once a week!
